I was ridiculously happy about this until I realised the UK/Europe wasn't on that list. That's a few now on CR I would have happily watched but can't.

Can we add a new Subscription "We Don't Give A Damn Where You Live" plan. In other words the "No Borders" plan, basically you pay a stupid amount each month, to get everything regardless where you live. I'd pay £50 a month for something like that, which hell is more than we pay for Sky TV. If it got me all catalog titles and all Simulcast Content in Anime Drama and now manga it would be worth paying out £600 a year or $955.62 US Dollar says Google :)

I am 100% serious, I WOULD PAY THAT MUCH to get EVERYTHING!

Do you realise how small the UK is even? Providing a million is correct which it is likely it isn't because they reported that a long while ago i'm sure it's got higher since 1m subscribers but even if it hasn't 1m is still 10% of the UK population! That is ALOT of people!

Since when was 1 million 10% of 63.23 million (the UK population as of last year)?

That compares to 313.9 million for the U.S. for the same year. A bit more math: The UK has 20% of the U.S. population, but only brings in about 10% of the traffic to CR that the U.S. does.

Again easy for you to defend them when your sitting atop the thrown isn't it? How about you start being reasonable and realise i have a right to complain? I pay the same amount of money as you therefore if i'm not happy about something i'm going to make my opinion heard. (or try)

Funny thing is it would be different if the UK got a license the US didn't wouldn't it? Then you'd be the one expressing your opinion.

If CR didn't get a U.S. license it would usually mean another company here did. In the rare event that some overseas company got a streaming title for something I really wanted to see, I would just purchase and use a VPN subscription.

It isn't as if the U.S. gets every title (that is true only for Japan itself), but there are titles that are available in other countries that we don't see legally available here, whether on media or in rare cases even streaming (i.e., parts of the world got Gundam AGE, with English subtitles no less, but neither the US or UK).

I might express my desire for a title to come to the US, but if CR couldn't get it for the US, I certainly wouldn't blame CR and accuse them of not working hard enough.

Since Latin America appears to typically been seen as a single licensing block by some publishers, it is conceivable that the day might arrive when they could rival or even eclipse the US for number of members. It is therefore conceivable we could see them getting titles that were not available to CR members (which has already happened with two library titles). On that day, you will not see me complaining because I understand the limitations imposed by regional licensing, and refuse to make myself play the "my neighbor's grass is greener" game.

Ask yourself this: If CR was a North America only company (like Funimation & TAN), but there was another company that streamed to the UK exactly the same titles as CR does now, and charged the same price, would you be complaining they were charging too much?
