Dutch speed skater Jorrit Bergsma took gold in the men's 10,000m on Tuesday to seal the Netherlands' fourth podium sweep at the Sochi Olympics.
Bergsma crossed the line in a new Olympic record time of 12min 44.45sec, ahead of Sven Kramer (12:49.02) and Bob de Jong (13:07.19).
Jorrit Bergsma:
"I knew the Olympic record was in me. I told myself to just have fun and skate fast. After the race, I knew I did well. I thought if it is enough for gold, it is enough for gold - and it was. It is still hard to believe I won; I knew I could do it."
