France: a pledge to support equal opportunities across all social groups
Thales has signed a partnership agreement with a French association* that promotes the integration of graduates, under the age of 30 and from underprivileged backgrounds, into the job market.
Equal opportunity in education and diversity are two key elements in the Group’s recruitment policy. In July of this year Thales already signed a Contrat de Génération agreement in France which encourages the employment of the younger generation and the transfer of knowledge and skills. Through this agreement, Thales is committed to recruiting more than 2,000 people under the age of 30 years over a three-year period (2013-2015).
