This is new analysis that looks at the ethnic diveristy of couples who are living together (married and in a civil partnership or cohabiting). It explores the patterns of these relationships and factors such as sex and age. It also looks at the type of relationship and dependent children that live in a household where there is an inter-ethnic relationship.

A combined analysis of income and wealth based upon results from the third wave of the Wealth and Assets Survey and covering the period 2010-12.

Environmental accounts show how the environment contributes to the economy, the impacts that the economy has on the environment, and how society responds to environmental issues. They include natural capital accounts (oil and gas), physical accounts (fuel use, energy consumption, atmospheric emissions, material flows, and water), and monetary accounts (environmental taxes and environmental protection expenditure). For 2014, experimental natural capital accounts (land use and forestry) are also included. Environmental accounts are ‘satellite accounts’ to the main National Accounts and they are compiled in accordance with the System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SEEA), which closely follows the UN System of National Accounts (SNA). This means that they are comparable with economic indicators such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

This story is the first to estimate Unpaid Care Expectancy (UCE) at ages 15, 50 and 65, by the newly established NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in England for the period 2010-12. It expands the analysis to include the ratio of the number of persons with pronounced disability to the number of unpaid carers providing 50 or more hours per week and the relationship between these populations to assess relative unmet care needs.
