Paranormal Answer Man: Should I try to talk to apparitions?
Question: My name is Cristina and I'm 23 years old. I have seen spirits, one that looks about five years old and another the appears to be about three. I want to go further with this: trying to talk to them. I want to know who I should converse with and who I shouldn't.

Reader Report: Apparition in the Empty Shop Window
"I live in Smalley in Derbyshire, U.K., and was walking to the local shop," reports Vicky. "It was around tea time (4 p.m.) and starting to get dark. To get to the shop, I pass by an old pub. It closed several years ago and became an Indian restaurant. The restaurant didn't last long and the building is now derelict. As I walked past the old pub, I glanced over and saw a lady standing at the front window inside the pub staring at me. I continued walking and glanced back and the lady had vanished.
"I found the whole experience quite unnerving and made sure I walked back on the opposite side of the road. I always look every time I walk past, but have not seen her again, thankfully."

Phantom Plane Crashes
Phantom plane crashes are a relatively recent phenomenon, but there have been several cases reported. The scenario usually goes something like this: Witnesses see a plane going down, often in flames. They hear the crash and feel the ground shake as the plane impacts. Sometimes smoke and flames are seen, and witnesses can smell spilled fuel. "I was on a hike at Red Rocks National Conservation Area in Las Vegas, Nevada," says Sharon. "Photos I took on the trail show an unexplained bright beam of light coming down from the sky. The first shows the beam when we were near it. It wasn't really detectable; the photo revealed it. The second photo is me farther down the trail and you can see the beam behind me."
