Here you can tell us about your dog. Share your best friend with the rest of us! Write a new blogpost and use your dogs name as the title. You can share as little or as much as you like, but breed and birthdate can always be fun to know.
Start a new photoalbum and add some pictures of your dog, name the the album with your dogs name and link it to your blogpost!

rescues, great danes, Dogs
We are new to Opera so if we don't "do this" right give us a pass please.
Saba is a 3 year old rescue and has come a long way since we took her into our home. We believe her previous home was abusive as she was underfed and left outside to live.
She was originally found in a forest preserve by a Polish truck driver who named her for the color of her coat, she is a fawn; if anyone knows Polish or Slavik maybe you could translate her name for me. I am sure her name is spelled phonetically.
She grew too large to keep in his truck so he gave her up to Great Dane Rescue after traveling to the west coast. He cried when he let her go....from there she went into a foster home and eventually adopted by someone who used her as a guard dog. This person brought her back to the foster home saying he couldn't keep her.
Well,I did not want an adult dog... I wanted a puppy; but went to meet her anywasy...
My first thoughts were "she is TOO BIG." After 2 hours she willingly climbed into the back seat and off we went to a new dog adventure.
