RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) means so many different things to so many different people. Many Indians have sacrificed their lives and worked for the RSS as volunteers.. many of us just hate it and consider it as a communal/fundamentalist organization that is the reason behind communal clashes and so on. OurKarnataka.Com (OKC) doesn't take sides of anyone and this is our way of telling people what is RSS ? What are its ideologies ? What does RSS do on a day-to-day basis ? We found.. contrary to what many National/International newspapers, channels say.. RSS is not exactly a ghost that these people make it out to be!!!

Why did RSS reject Indira ?
Indira declared the National Emergency and imposed MISA (Maintenance of Internal Security) on many political leaders and threw them in Jails. Naturally, RSS was in the fore-front of agitation against the atrocities. It is interesting to note that Indira sent a messenger to RSS leader for some kind of agreement which was of course rejected by RSS. Read On

Part 6: How do we get them Back ??
Hindus have to blame themselves for the conversion (into other religions) and the other related problems. When hoards of Hindus were being christianized or islamized, people were just plain silent and the belief was that "if a Hindu is converted to some other religion, he can never be a Hindu again!!!". It was considered a blasphemy to get him back to be a Hindu!! This kind of criminal mentality stopped people who wanted to be back as Hindus!! Read On

Today, RSS is working relentlessly through small workshops, 10 days courses on Spoken Sanskrit and have shown that it is possible to learn how to speak fluent Sanskrit in our day-to-day lives.
