So much was said about all those extra kilos you put on, against the usual hourglass figure that actresses are supposed to maintain. That was a purely personal decision! I felt like eating well and I did it. After some time I felt I want to stop stuffing myself and I did just that! M. G. Ramamurthy - A producer with a difference
Producer M. G. Ramamurthy is a different man. He believes in working in his own way. He is the producer who gave actor Darshan the much needed break with "Majestic". Unlike the other producers in Gandhinagar, he believes in newcomers. He has encouraged a lot of them and given them an opportunity to work in his films. OKC: What is your stand on the trend of writing songs in kanglish? A lot of kannada organizations have been opposing it. GK: Current generation has a huge effect of English language in their daily lives. It is impossible for me and you to speak kannada with out using a single word in english. How many of the present generation can remember an old kannada song? They may not be able to sing more than a stanza. The tune of the song will be remembered. Not the lyrics. We make music accordingly for the present generation.
