Big changes in Hong Kong change actress Sandra Ng's mind about sequels
The year of the Golden Horse may be galloping near but it was Golden Chickensss which ruled the roost at the Hotel Intercontinental on Saturday.
The bawdy Hong Kong comedy's director Matt Chow, 45, and stars Sandra Ng, 48, and Ivana Wong, 34, were in Singapore for promotions. It opens here on Jan 30.
Ng reprises her 2002 Golden Horse Best Actress-winning role as Kam, the prostitute-turned-mamasan with a heart of gold, and she also produced the film.
She said: "I'd never thought about making another sequel. But things have changed so much from values to technology that I thought why not try and capture that in a movie?"
