eBay just launched a really cool new feature called MyGadgets. It lets you quickly figure out what your gadget collection would be worth (either individual items or the entire group) if you were to list them for sale right now on the eBay Marketplace.

To celebrate, eBay is giving away some incredible prizes including an 84” Sony 4K TV, a NOOK Simple Touch eReader, a Sony Alpha NEX-5R camera and MUCH more. Total value of the prize package is over $33,000! To enter, just start adding your gadgets to your profile.

I recently gave MyGadgets a try and I have to say, it’s pretty fun to see what the various gadgets I own could fetch me. For instance, my current MacBook Air would net me $782.72 while my 1st-gen iPod shuffle would fetch a handsome $11.49 (and… lol). In just a few minutes I was able to see that the bulk of my current collection would bring in over $4,000. Very cool. Here’s what some of my gadgets look like on the site:

I can’t overemphasize how easy it is to get setup. Sign-in or sign-up, click the add button and start typing a gadget name, like Apple iPhone, and instantly a suggestion list will appear. Once you click the correct model it gets added to your list immediately and you can see the price it would sell for on eBay (either new or used–you pick) and the price your entire collection is potentially worth.

The best part about MyGadgets is that it motivates you to sell your old stuff that you don’t use anymore. It’s just taking up space but guess what? It’s still worth something to someone out there. Even my old iPhone 4 was worth $190.43.

What are you waiting for? Head on over to eBay and set up your MyGadgets profile now!
