Health experts are warning of a dangerous diet gaining traction among girls.

The "cotton ball diet" involves eating cotton balls dipped in juice. The idea is to feel full without gaining weight.

Aside from the obvious health risks like choking and intestinal problems, experts warn that most cotton balls aren't made of cotton, but bleached, polyester fibers that contain a lot of chemicals.

Experts say the practice shouldn't be labeled a diet, but an eating disorder.
