Glossop

The busy Derbyshire market town of Glossop is part of the High Peak district and forms a gateway to the beautiful Peak District. Its famous sons and daughters include double Booker Prize winner Hilary Mantel and fashion designer Vivienne Westwood. The nearby village of Hadfield provided the setting for the BBC comedy The League of Gentlemen.
