Altrincham

Altrincham is a market town to the south of Trafford. It was established in 1920, and there is still a market in the town to this day. It has a growing number of independent businesses. It is relatively affluent, and has a number of active community groups and organisations such as Altrincham & Bowdon Civic Society, Altrincham Town Centre Partnership, and Altrincham Forward. It is also home to Altrincham Football Club, which has grounds on Moss Lane.
