Caroline tries to raise money through an Internet fundraising site in order to buy an expensive pair of pants. Meanwhile, Max gets a new smartphone but it disrupts her relationship with Caroline.
And the Kitty Kitty Spank Spank
Max becomes smitten with a stray cat that's been hanging around the apartment, but Caroline convinces her that they need to find it a better home.
And the Group Head
Max and Caroline take temporary jobs as baristas at a coffee house in order to learn how to use their new cappuccino maker.
And the Cronuts
Max and Caroline lose business to the new cronut trend (half croissant, half donut), so they come up with their own trend---cake fries.
And the Piece of Sheet
Caroline buys Max a new bedding set and gives away the old sheets to charity without realizing they had sentimental value to her.
