Sports at the University of Oregon
The Erb Memorial Union Club Sports Program is a co-ed, competitive, recreational program for students as well as faculty and staff members. It is designed as an athletic alternative, bridging the gap between existing intramural and intercollegiate programs.
For more than three decades the Outdoor Program has been a place where motivated individuals have gathered to learn, share, and enjoy a wide variety of outdoor adventures. The UO program is recognized as one of the first and most unique outdoor adventure programs in the country.
The Department of Physical Education and Recreation enhances the lives of all students with physical activity programs and activities focusing on health and fitness, outdoor pursuits, aquatics, sports, structured intramurals and open recreation. Additionally, students can earn electives credits in physical education.
The Student Recreation Center features a cardio and weight training center, swimming pool, climbing wall, suspended track, several gymnasiums, tennis, and racquetball courts and multi-purpose rooms. Outdoors, it offers lighted synthetic and natural turf fields, tennis courts, and a jogging track.
