Google will reportedly launch its Google Drive cloud storage service next week.
Will include 5GB of free storage
According to The Next Web, the service which will rival Dropbox will probably be available next Tuesday and come with 5GB of free online storage. The cloud-based service will apparently be available at http://drive.google.com.
Google Drive will be supported on PC, Mac, iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad and, of course, Android devices.
Furthermore, TechCrunch has actually got its mitts on the app for Mac OS X, although it isn't working. It also said that Google Drive will launch next week with 5GB of free storage. More storage capacity will likely be available for a fee but no information on this has been announced.
Google has not confirmed these bits of information are true so we'll have to wait to see if it all comes to fruition.
