Tiny GarageBand update a welcome Mac App Store sight

On Wednesday, Apple issued its first update to the new GarageBand 10 for Mavericks. The release of version 10.0.1, which "improves stability and addresses a number of minor issues," is nothing spectacular in itself. What is interesting, however, is that the update--downloaded through the Mac App Store--was only 28.9MB on my Mac Pro. The full GarageBand 10 download? 749MB.
