Merry had a father who was disabled which inspired her to invent wheelchairs that disabled kids/or adults could dance. That inspired her to make a change and make a difference for these young kids and adults to not give up on what they want to do.
Mobility International USA has a wonderful international program called WILD (Women in Leadership and Disabilities) whom I photographed for my book, WOMEN WHO LIGHT THE DARK. Women from all over the world had such fun wheelchair dancing in traditional wheelchairs. This is a huge advance. Bravo, Merry Lynn Morris!

In Fresno we have "Break The Barriers" it is a fantastic organization that teaches dance, gymnastics to special needs children and able bodied children. A great program.
That is awesome love how people are interacting with kids who have special needs.
Reminds me of my friend's organization, Invertigo Dance. She helps people with Parkinson's learn how to dance, which is really wonderful, bec people with that disease struggle with certain movement.
