AMANAH SAHAM NASIONAL BERHAD: Clarify requirement for letter of authorisation

I HAVE been investing in Amanah Saham unit trust and updating pass books on behalf of my children, with an authorisation letter (borang kebenaran wakil).

But lately, some post offices and banks insist that for each transaction, the authorisation letter must be accompanied with a certified copy of the pass book and the identity card of the unit holder.

It will be helpful if Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad can clarify the requirement.
