TOWSON, Maryland – October 17 th, 2013 – Digital Steamworks announced the launch of its Kickstarter fundraising campaign for 3D MVP Lacrosse, a two-on-two lacrosse game for iPhones, iPads and Android devices.  The game is currently in development and can be preordered through its Kickstarter page, which offers exclusive rewards along with the finished game in exchange for project sponsorship.  Link: http://kck.st/1cXNsS0

“Lacrosse is an amazing sport that still hasn’t reached its potential in videogames,” said Murray Taylor, Digital Steamworks’ president.  “But finding interest from big game publishers has been tough, so we decided to start on our own, beginning with a high quality mobile game.”

3D MVP Lacrosse is being developed for iOS and Android mobile and tablet platforms, and is on track for a Spring 2014 release.  “We’ve made some great progress, and know where we want to take it, but funding the whole game is a big risk for us.  This Kickstarter campaign can reduce that risk dramatically, and lets us focus on making a really great game.”

The game’s campaign begins today, and runs until November 17 th.  If funded, 3D MVP Lacrosse will be available in the App and Play stores by May of 2014.

Projects that use Kickstarter will only receive funding if they meet their funding goals.  “We think this game can make a lot of lacrosse players and gamers pretty happy,” Taylor explains, “but we need their help to make it happen.”

3D MVP Lacrosse can be seen in action on its Kickstarter page at http://kck.st/1cXNsS0
