News Hotarubi no Mori e Film's TV Ads Streamed

Anime of manga by Natsume Yūjin-Chō's Yuki Midorikawa to open in September
The official website for the anime film adaptation of Yuki Midorikawa's Hotarubi no Mori e manga began streaming four television commercials on Friday. The commercials revolve around the main characters Gin and Hotaru. Midorikawa is best known for creating the Natsume Yūjin-Chō manga and anime.
The story of Hotarubi no Mori e centers around Hotaru, a little girl who gets lost in an enchanted forest where apparitions reside. A young boy, Gin, appears before Hotaru, but she cannot touch him for fear of making him disappear.
The anime studio Brains Base are animating the film with director Takahiro Omori and music by Makoto Yoshimori. The film stars Ayane Sakura (Dream Eater Merry) as Hotaru and Kouki Uchiyama (Infinite Stratos, C, Soul Eater) as Gin.
