The New York Times newspaper listed the manga bestsellers in the United States for the week ending on July 30. Not all of the works are produced in Japan.

Black Lagoon: Second Barrage DVDs 2 and 3Plentiful violent action, oodles of profanity, character background insights, occasional humor, and much more collect into one nasty package as the series' final two story arcs play out. Far from brainless, this is easily one of the elite action series of the past few years.
