Season Info
An animated adult series about four potty-mouthed, trash-talking grade schoolers living in a Colorado town. Rude, crude and seriously funny, it became an immediate hit after its Comedy Central debut in August 1997, inspiring some guest voice appearances by series fans (among them, George Clooney), a feature film and any number of weak cartoon imitations.

Critic Reviews for South Park: Season 17
Not every show has to be some sort of searing public commentary; dumb jokes are just fine, thanks. But even with that expectation and the extended time off, it feels like the rust shows.
This wasn't on par with something like "Broadway Bro Down" by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a solid outing all the same.
While South Park normally excels at lampooning major hot-button issues like this, the season premiere just didn't quite follow through comedically, despite raising some good points.
