As part of its new tablet range, Dell has announced the Venue 11 Pro. Here's our Dell Venue 11 Pro hands-on review.
Dell says it has "The power of an Ultrabook, performance of a desktop, portability of a tablet."We took a look at a pre-production sample which was bulky and had a rear-cover coming away so we'll update you on build quality when we get a finished sample. What's the best tablet you can buy in 2013?
Rivalling Microsoft's Surface Pro 2 tablet, the Venue 11 Pro has a 10.8 in IPS touchscreen with a Full HD 1080p resolution. The screen is decent quality and has good viewing angles. See Microsoft Surface 2: Release date, price, specs and accessories.
Powering the Dell Venue 11 Pro is a fourth-generation Intel Haswell processor up to Core i5 vPro. Although we noticed no signs of lag, we haven't been able to put the device through its paces properly yet. We'll give it a thorough test when we get it into our lab.

The firm touts up to 10 hours battery life, matching the new Surface 2 so we'll have to see if this is true or not when we get a review unit.
Dell is offering up to 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB storage giving it the kind of components usual found in a laptop. If you should find it useful, the Venue 11 Pro has NFC as an option. As standard, it comes with Full-size USB, HDMI and a micro SD card slot.
Windows 8.1 will come pre-loaded on the tablet with Dell Enterprise Services. Optional hardware security comes in the form of a fingerprint scanner and smart card reader.
As well as a handy replaceable battery, the Venue 11 Pro will have a range of accessories. These include a desktop docking station with HDMI and DisplayPort connections, a keyboard dock much like Asus' Transformer range with its own battery (above) and a slim keyboard similar to Microsoft's Touch Cover.
Dell said the Venue 11 Pro will be priced at £349 excluding VAT and will arrive on 7 November.
