Yamato Yamamoto, A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives' Kagami to launch Owari no Seraph

Artist Yamato Yamamoto will end his manga adaptation of Kentarō Katayama's Kure-nai light novel series in the July issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine on Monday. However, he is collaborating with novelist Takaya Kagami (A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives/Itsu-ten, The Legend of the Legendary Heroes) on a new dark fantasy manga series, tentatively titled Owari no Seraph (The Final Seraph, pictured right). The new series will debut in the same magazine this fall.

Shueisha will publish the 10th and final compiled book volume for the Kure-nai manga on August 3. Sentai Filmworks will release the anime adaptation of the light novels this month.

Niconico and Crunchyroll streamed A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives anime in North America. Funimation released The Legend of the Legendary Heroes anime on DVD in North America, after first streaming it as it aired in Japan.
