News Fresh Precure Film, Layton, Needless Promos Streamed

The official website for the Precure magical girl theatrical anime films has begun streaming a 69-second trailer for the seventh film, Fresh Precure! Omocha no Kuni wa Himitsu ga Ippai!?, on Saturday. Toei Animation based this film on the latest Precure television anime series, and the film will open in Japan on October 31.
The official website for Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, the first anime movie adaptation of Level5's mystery game franchise, has updated with a 105-second trailer and two new 30-second teaser trailers. The film will open in Japan on December 19 with Nana Mizuki playing the new character Jenisu.
In the original games, the archeologist Layton and his trusty assistant Luke solve mysteries in a fantasy setting through a series of puzzles. Level5 President Akihiro Hino (Dragon Quest VIII, Dragon Quest IX) is drafting an entirely new story for TOHO's film version. Only the first game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, has been released in North America, although second one, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, will get an English release next month. There is also a live-action film in the works as well as a Professor Layton manga by Sakura Naoki in Shogakukan's Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic magazine.
Avex has begun streaming a four-minute promotional video along with two television commercials for the television anime adaptation of Kami Imai's Needless manga. The action gag comedy with "bishōjo x violence" is set in 2130, when large swaths of Japan have been quarantined as polluted "Black Spots (BS)" in the aftermath of World War III. However, there are people who have settled behind the massive walls of the Black Spots, where they have developed mysterious powers. The city people on the outside have a label for the Black Spot people they have ostracized: "Needless." The anime premiered on July 2.
