Togainu no Chi, Oreimo to Be Streamed Online (Updated)

posted on 2010-09-30 21:31 EDT
Both TV anime to premiere in Japan next week

The anime licensor and distributor Aniplex USA has announced that the togainu no chi and Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (Oreimo) television anime series will be streamed online this Fall. More details will be provided shortly.

togainu no chi originated as an adult boys-love game that Nitro+CHiRAL released in 2005. Manga artist Suguro Chayamachi adapted the game's story about a post-apocalyptic street fighter in Enterbrain's comic B's-LOG magazine. Tokyopop will publish the sixth volume of the manga in North America in November. The television anime series will premiere in Japan on Sunday.

Tsukasa Fushimi's original Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai comedy light novel series follows the daily life of an ordinary high school boy named Kyōsuke Kōsaka. Kyōsuke's younger sister Kirino is a pretty fashion model — but also a secret otaku of adult games. Kyōsuke is the only person to whom Kirino reveals her hidden obsession and other issues. The anime will premiere in Japan on Sunday.
