News MVM to Release Inu x Boku SS
MVM has confirmed on twitter that it has acquired the Inu × Boku SS television anime series, though it gave no further release details.
The romantic comedy follows a mistress and her "servant" (bodyguard) in Maison de Ayakashi, a high-class building better known by the name "Demon House (Ayakashi-kan)." Rumors about it abound; in fact, the people who live in this mysterious building are all descendants of demons. Ririchiyo Shirakiin is troubled by her inability to interact with people, and comes to the building in order to change herself. There she meets Soushi Miketsukami, one of the Secret Service bodyguards assigned to each tenant. He tells her, "Please make me your dog!"
Naokatsu Tsuda (Shikabane Hime: Kuro, Squid Girl) directed the anime adaptation of Cocoa Fujiwara's original manga at David Production. Haruko Iizuka (The IDOLM@STER, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) designed the characters and acted as chief animation director. Toshizo Nemoto (Towa no Quon, Phi-Brain - Kami no Puzzle) oversaw the scripts, and Takuya Satō (Strawberry Marshmallow, Mayoi Neko Overrun!) supervised the scenario and setting.

Strobe Edge GN 2 & 3Strobe Edge continues to be a thoughtful manga about a girl discovering what it means to grow up. Featuring actual nice guys (at least so far), both a heroine and a rival who are sympathetic, and attention to detail, this is a series that romance fans and those borderline sick of romance should enjoy.
Girl Friends GN 2More than a successful yuri story, Girl Friends is a successful love story. By taking into account the girls' friendship, and therefore their genuine fondness for each other's personalities, Morinaga gives us a story with characters in a relationship that is both more believable and easier to get behind than in many a romance manga.
Demon Love Spell GN 2Demon Love Spell may not be quite as unusual as it began, at least within the catalog of Mayu Shinjo, but it is still a fun story that lacks many of the things that can make her work distasteful.
Stepping on Roses GN 8 & 9If Stepping on Roses got too melodramatic for you a while back or you could never quite come to terms with Sumi's personality, the ending might not thrill you. But those readers who have been enjoying Ueda's ode to the 19th century melodrama with a shoujo sensibility will find the majority of the conclusion to be downright satisfactory, if not a little better.
GTO: 14 Days in Shonan GN 7It may look like a silly, lowbrow action series on the outside, but once again, it surpasses expectations on the inside.
Limit continues to do what Keiko Suenobu does best – highlight the very real problems of adolescence. The survival story helps to make the story more palatable to those outside her usual readership, combining teen angst with adventure to create a compelling read fraught with perils both physical and emotional.
Overall Sakura Hime's ninth volume manages to be a very good read with the stakes getting higher for those Sakura loves and a very real new threat to contend with surfacing at the last minute.
Funimation's irreverent approach to the series hasn't changed, and that means that the show's appeal, and its drawbacks, remain largely the same. With one notable exception: the novelty has long since worn off.
For people who've already played the original version this release offers very little. Everyone else might be surprised that the best Resident Evil in recent memory came out a year ago on a handheld console.
