Guest Guide

ADMISSION
No discounts on the price of admission will be offered based on the time of your entry to the match. The ticket price is the same whether you enter at the beginning or end of the match.

JELD-WEN Field is located in the heart of downtown Portland, just off I-405. The address at JELD-WEN Field is 1844 SW Morrison, Portland, OR  97205. For information about upcoming events, directions to the stadium or to contact our administrative office, please call 503.553.5400.

ALCOHOL
JELD-WEN Field wishes that all guests have a great and memorable time during their visit. For those who would like to consume alcoholic beverages, they are available at concession stands throughout JELD-WEN Field, as well as portable beverage stands. Oregon state liquor laws prohibit guests from bringing alcoholic beverages into JELD-WEN Field. The only alcohol permitted on the premises must be purchased and/or dispensed by authorized servers. Guests who appear to be under the age of 30 will be required to show approved identification. No guest will be served more than two alcoholic beverages at any given time. Alcohol beverage sales on the concourse level will stop at designated times during Timbers matches, concerts and other events.

ANIMALS
Only certified service dogs or service dogs in training will be allowed into JELD-WEN Field. All other animals are prohibited.

BABY-CHANGING AREAS
Changing stations are located in every restroom at JELD-WEN Field. All women’s restrooms are equipped with electrical outlets.

BAGS / BAG SEARCH
All bags and backpacks that easily fit under a seat are allowed. All bags are subject to inspection prior to entering the ballpark. Hard-sided coolers are not allowed into JELD-WEN Field. (see PROHIBITED ITEMS)

BANNERS AND SIGNS
For Timbers matches, fans are permitted to bring signs, flags or banners into JELD-WEN Field to exhibit their support of the Timbers.  All signs, flags or banners must follow these guidelines:

  • No profanities may be exhibited on the sign, flag or banner.
  • No inappropriate or disrespectful language may be exhibited on the sign, flag or banner.
  • The sign, flag or banner may not block the view of other fans during play.

Any signs, flags or banners that do not follow the above guidelines will be confiscated.

BEVERAGES, BOTTLES AND CANS
Sealed or empty water bottles and soft-sided single juice containers for children are permitted into JELD-WEN Field. Empty spray bottles are permitted into the park. Outside cans and bottles are not allowed and will not be given back to the guest at the end of the event, so please leave these items at home or in your vehicle.

BIKE PARKING
A limited number of bicycle racks are available at both entrances to JELD-WEN Field. Bicycles are not to be locked to stadium fencing or gates. Visit www.trimet.org for information on TriMet bike accessibility.

BUSINESS OFFICE
JELD-WEN Field’s main office may be entered from the outside on 20th Avenue, directly across from the parking lot at US Bank.

CAMERA AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT
Cameras and video recorders are allowed at JELD-WEN Field during Timbers games. Other events are subject to promoter discretion.

CELLULAR PHONES AND PAGERS
The use of cellular phones and pagers is allowed at JELD-WEN Field, provided the usage does not interfere with another guest’s enjoyment of the game.

CHILDREN
Children age two and under will be admitted free as long as the child is sitting on an adult's lap. If a parent requests a physical seat for the child, he/she must pay the appropriate price. This rule varies with some events. Check with box office for non-Timbers events.

JELD-WEN Field management is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. Our staff will proactively intervene to support a family oriented environment where all guests can enjoy the entertainment experience free from the following behaviors:

  • Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
  • Any disruption of the game by a guest’s actions or unauthorized entrance on the playing field or restricted areas
  • Inappropriate displays of affection in a public, family setting
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment
  • Obscene or indecent clothing
  • Guests seated in a location other than their ticketed seat

If someone interferes with your enjoyment of a game, please contact a Guest Services Representative for assistance.

Fans found in violation of the JELD-WEN Field Code of Conduct face ejection from the event as well as potential bans from future stadium events. Fans may also be asked to partake in a Fan Conduct Class before they are free to return to any JELD-WEN Field event.

CONCESSIONS
The JELD-WEN Field food service partner, Centerplate, INC, manages several fixed and portable concession stands at the stadium. These stands feature traditional stadium favorites such as hot dogs, peanuts, soda and popcorn. In addition to these items, Centerplate features pizza and a wide variety of specialty foods. JELD-WEN Field also features a varied selection of local microbrews, import and domestic beer and other beverages. Non-alcoholic beverages include a variety of soft drinks and other refreshing drinks.

CREDIT CARDS
Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express cards are accepted at ticketing, food & retail locations throughout the Park. No checks are accepted.

DISCOUNTS
JELD-WEN Field does not have any single game discounts at the box office. Discounted group and season seat rates are available by calling 503.553.5555.

ESCORTS
Guests may pre-arrange special wheelchair needs by calling JELD-WEN Field at 503.553.5523.

EXCHANGING TICKETS
Season Ticket holders are encouraged to contact their Service Representative prior to any game to go over options available for tickets that may be going unused. Tickets can be forwarded, resold or donated with assistance from your Service Representative.

FIRST AID
Two First Aid stations are located at JELD-WEN Field; one is located at section 109/110 and the other near the Providence Sports Care Center near Gate 1. Metro West provides complete First Aid care for guests of JELD-WEN Field, with two trained med techs and an ambulance on site for all ticketed and non-ticketed events.

GIVEAWAYS
For a list of upcoming promotions, please refer to the promotional schedule on the website. The number of promotional items given is restricted based on the event (e.g., first 2,000 fans or first 2,000 fans 12 years and younger). Please remember that a ticket does not ensure or entitle the holder to a promotional item on that date and that only one item will be given to each eligible fan. Giveaway dates are subject to change without notice. The best way to ensure a giveaway item that you are eligible for is to arrive early.

GUEST FEEDBACK
Guests have several ways to express themselves. A guest may fill out a Comment Card on site or email info@portlandtimbers.com. Guests may also relay their comments to a JELD-WEN Field employee.

ICE CHESTS AND COOLERS
Guests are not permitted to bring hard-sided ice chests or coolers into JELD-WEN Field. Soft-sided cooler bags to keep unopened bottled water, baby items or other special needs cool during the event are permitted. All prohibited items should be discarded or returned to one’s vehicle.

LASER POINTERS
Laser pointers are not allowed at JELD-WEN Field.

LOST AND FOUND
Lost articles are held for 30 days. Guests may call 503.553.5520 and leave a detailed description of the misplaced item along with a phone number where they can be reached.  Email inquiries should be directed to bkennedy@portlandtimbers.com.

LOST CHILDREN/PEOPLE
Parents looking for a lost child should report to the JELD-WEN Field Guest Services Center, located on the main concourse near section 104.

LUXURY SUITES
JELD-WEN Field features 24 Pavilion Suites. The suites provide the ultimate experience for your group outing, featuring wait service, televisions, DVD players, and seating for 22 or 26 people. All JELD-WEN Field suites are sold out for the 2013 season. To sign up for the waiting list, please contact Nate Liberman at 503.553.5434.

NO SMOKING POLICY
JELD-WEN Field is a no smoking facility. There is no smoking inside JELD-WEN Field confines during matches and events. E-cigarettes are also not allowed inside JELD-WEN Field during events.

OUTSIDE FOOD
All outside food or drink is not allowed into JELD-WEN Field. Special considerations may be made for medical reasons.

PARKING
Two-hour parking is allowed in the Goose Hollow neighborhood. Parking is not allowed at Fred Meyer, while neighborhoods surrounding JELD-WEN Field offer parking by permit only. Fans are encouraged to take TriMet to JELD-WEN Field events. Fans that drive to the stadium are encouraged to park in one of the many parking structures in downtown Portland. PROHIBITED ITEMS
Food, beverages, weapons of any kind even with a concealed weapons permit (exception: City of Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon State police officers and federal agents may carry their weapons whether they are on or off duty), containers such as coolers or thermoses, helium balloons, banners or signs that are not in the spirit of the event or that obstruct the view of others or that are taped or secured to JELD-WEN Field property in any way, sticks, bicycles, animals other than service animals, compressed air horns are all prohibited at JELD-WEN Field.

REENTRY
For almost all events at JELD-WEN Field, including Portland Timbers games, reentry is not allowed.

RECYCLING
JELD-WEN Field is dedicated to sound environmental practices. Our efforts include: 90 recycle bins located throughout the park, leftover concessionaire food donated to local charities, food scraps are composted weekly, cooking oil is recycled, automatic paper towel dispensers have been installed in all restrooms to save paper, foam soap dispensers reduce the amount of soap used, all cleaning products are green certified, automated light fixtures turn on automatically when a person enters the room, compact fluorescent light blubs used whenever possible, housekeeping machinery is green certified, and all office products and cardboard are recycled. Unclaimed Lost and Found articles are donated to charity. In 2009, JELD-WEN Field became Recycle at Work Certified—meaning the stadium has improved its recycling practices and reduced the amount of waste it produces by implementing all of the City of Portland’s five recycling steps.

SPECIAL SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
Guest Services can provide details regarding the wide array of services for our disabled guests including ADA access points, elevators and assisted listening devices.

TELEPHONES
Pay phones are located on the main concourse near section 116/117.

TIMBERS ARMY
All Timbers Army sections (101-108 & 201-208) are General Admission and are first-come first-served. Fans without TA tickets will not be allowed into these sections. The Timbers Army is a supporters section so many areas will be filled with fans standing, chanting and singing, Visiting Team colors are not recommended in the Timbers Army section and visiting supporters may be relocated to another part of the stadium.

UMBRELLAS
Umbrellas may be brought into the park but may not be opened in the seating bowl or on the concourse.  This is to ensure that no fan has a blocked view.

VUVUZELAS
Vuvuzela horns are prohibited at JELD-WEN Field.

WEATHER
Soccer games are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Games will be delayed in the event of lightning in the area. Soccer matches are only cancelled due to rain if the playing surface is deemed unplayable by the officials.

WILL CALL
Will Call tickets are available beginning two hours prior to events. Tickets are released only to the person whose name appears on the Ticketmaster account header card or will call envelope. No one will be given tickets designated for another person. Proper photo identification is required, preferably a driver's license, and purchasing credit card, if applicable.
