Supanova Brisbane this Weekend.

Supanova Brisbane will be held this coming weekend. Guests include Tiffany Grant, Matt Greenfield and Yuko Miyamura. Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance premiere to be held.

The first Supanova event of the year, the Supanova Brisbane convention, will be held this weekend (april 1 to April 3) at the RNA Showgrounds. Details on the location and ticket prices are available on Supanova's website.

Supanova Brisbane, along with Supanova Melbourne the following weekend, will feature a number of anime related guests including:

Tiffany Grant
One of the longest-working anime voice actors in America, Tiffany Grant has voiced characters in over a thousand episodes of anime, including Azumanga Daioh, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu!, Fullmetal Alchemist and One Piece. She is famous for her role as Asuka in Neon Genesis Evangelion, which she is reprising in Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance. In addition to acting, she has written subtitles and penned over two hundred English dub scripts.

Matt Greenfield
The co-founder of ADV Films, Matt Greenfield has worked as a producer, director and writer on numerous titles such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, Excel Saga, Gunsmith Cats, Macross and Nadesico, and also voiced a number of roles in various series under the pseudonym Brian Granveldt.

Yuko Miyamura
The Japanese voice-actor for Asuka in Neon Genesis Evangelion and Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance, Yuko Miyamura has voiced characters in a long list of anime and video games, including Berserk, Detective Conan, My-HiME and NieA_7. Yuko Miyamura will be Supanova's first Japanese voice actor guest.

Madman Entertainment has also announced that the Australian premiere of the Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance English dub will take place at Supanova Brisbane, on April 1st. The movie will also screen at Supanova Melbourne.
