Thanks Izzy :o)
So, Annike Krahn = Thiago Silva ? ;o))
One thing to remember : never put in a same team Almuth Schulth and Camille Abily if you don't want to have your ears exploding, ah ah !
She plays like a brazilian , but born in the Ruhr (area of Germany)

what means "Ruhr-region Brazilian"?

Thanks a lot for the interviews, Izzy. Two great coaches. As you, I like Silvia Neid a lot. She is highly criticized in Germany, as Bini in France, Powell in England, Sasaki in Japan by many, and maybe Pia in two years time if Sweden is out at the WC in QF ;o)
The game was very tough, but I don't think it was sppiled by hard fouls. I haven't seen any intentional foul intended to hurt. I've just watched the game again, and yes, what a game !
Although I was cheering for Sweden, I am a big fan of Silvia Neid, that is, in my opinion, the best coach of women's soccer. Here is her and Pia post match interview, you should give a look: http://www.uefa.com/womenseuro/season=2013/matches/round=2000177/ma...
In my opinion, a referee need to be consistent. This referee let the game run amok, closed her eyes during hard fouls and was strict at times when it was not needed. I think a Euro semi-final needed a better referee than this.
Izzy, I honestly don't think that the referee ruined anything. This game was not Usa-Canada 2012 ;o)
The goal disallowed was off-side and there was a foul, the replay showed it was obvious. And, honestly, Nilla Fischer should have been booked a second time (then, red) for her big foul just outside the box in first half...
I understand how you can be sad since you were behind Sweden, but honestly, it was a fantastic game between two great teams and this Germany was just collectively above. just remember they played with 6 key players missing and in spite of that, they were there. it's sad maybe that a team had to lose the game, but any win couldn't be undeserved tonight. Well, that's my humble opinion.
Referee ruined everything. No more words!
As Aimé Jaquet used to say, "It's not the disposition which is important, but the animation" ;o)
For the striker's profile, I don't have any pre-conceived idea, I must say. The important thing is scoring (or at least help to score). I don't like Wambach at all, but let's recognize she is a high scorer. And she doesn't run at all.
I see what you mean with the speed creating more danger in WF today. I think it's - maybe - because the playing in Women's football is usually a very attacking one, going from one side to the other. So, yes, speed then is important for forwards as Thomis, ELS or Schellin, or Morgan. But if you play against a team which plays behind and parks the bus... That would be interesting to see France playing Norway in SF, because Norway is a very defensive team. Then ,if you don't have any space to run into, having speed is maybe not so crucial...
Well, anyway, the best team will be the more balanced. And I think that - at the moment - France is really the best :o)
yes i understand clearly, not same style of play for sure.
I dont support more delie than le sommer or reverse, but le sommer with her speed and her swiftness did more damage on the defense !
Delie is probably good but not with the 4-2-3-1, 4-4-2 with delie and a player like le sommer or another quick player should be ok here !
In the women soccer, i observed one (important) thing, the speed cause more damage than a profile like delie
If you check the amount of attemps caused by quick player like hansen, thomis, mbabi, melis, even boquete etc ... thats more dangerous than this style of profile like delie, mainly in 4-2-3-1 ( i really hate this tactic i now :) )
