The God of the Message Boards.. says Japon no Jutsu
Finally i enjoyed playing Diablo 1 on PS1 rather than the P.C ver. I believe this time will give me the same experience with the Dualshock 3 controller.
It sucks that i bought the PC version! I should have waited, because the PC version just didnt seem like a Diablo game to me!
Does it really matter? Only way to insure it is if it's saved on a secure server Anyone can hack it's just this is far easier. It's also why I snub achievement since you don't know if anyone actually earned them. I'm enjoying the game I don't need to rub achievements in other people's faces to feel good about purchasing it. I am not that weak minded.
This has to be brought to the PS Vita. Borderlands II is already on the way. Combined with a portable version of Diablo III, these two will undoubtedly be BIG system sellers.
So Hack & Slash, Dungeon Crawling based games appeal to what genre?
People with ADHD? People with OCD? Role Playing? I mean games like this....you don't even have to think, you just click on a potential enemy and kill it... :: yawn ::
On console do you have to hold down the button to attack or can you mash the attack button and still pull of a string of hits?
I personally hate games where you leave the button pressed. It misses the point of hitting something. It lacks that physicality, that Umphh.
This sounds like one of the best things Blizzard has ever done since Diablo II. I might actually get this game.
I'm loving the xbox 360 version - already played through Normal and Nightmare modes, and I'm nearing the end of Act 1 on Hell mode. So far, it's mostly good, only bad things are a bit of screen tearing and some slowdown when it gets really busy.
My question is if the secret level is in the game, as i got the staff of herding near the end of nightmare mode, but one of the loading screens says there's no cow level?
For someone who has put nearly 1000 hours into the PC version, I must say that overall I prefer the console version (PS3). This game was made to be played with a controller. It plays so smooth and it's really satisfying gearing yourself with self found items.
Guys :/ send me an english copy, amazon sent me a spanish one just because i live in mexico and my pc versión is also in spanish :(
The PS3 version is the best iteration of the game to date. No DRM, better loot, and NO AUCTION HOUSE.
Same-screen couch co-op FTW! Just make AB-SO-LUTE-LY certain that you wait for the little (D) save icon to stop saving/loading/etc before you quit/exit. Also need to gradually exit out from the game -- don't just drop to dashboard!
Seems like a much better version than what you get with PC. Too bad I already bought the PC version and I don't want to shell out another $60
Lets all look back on the comments that said Blizzard would never bring this game to consoles
@Sprock26 I'm glad I played a couple thousand hours on the PC version. This "pure" version of diablo 3 makes it seem all that much better of a game. #stayawhileandarrrggghh
@BradBurns As the difficulty increases its best to mix up your attacks anyway, and to roll away if you are taking lots of damage or about to have a status effect hit you. I prefer tapping A for each hit, as mashing the button (or holding it) tends to leave the character swinging at thin air when enemies die.
@BradBurns You can hold the button and execute combos, or if you prefer you can mash the button and get the same effect
@swimbearukThere is no cow level, its a rainbow level full of fluffy teddy bears, deadly unicorns and other monstrosity that even Diablo would fear himself.
@electro57Diablo plays best when you?re playing with other people. Because not a lot of people connect their consoles to the internet, that?s where the whole idea of having to get four people on the same couch playing together. That?s how we get that social aspect. But on PC, players want to feel they?re part of the bigger Blizzard and Diablo community. It?s a choice of platform and opportunity for our players to benefit from. There?s a more secure item trading environment, but also a more social environment
I've never found her to be like that.
But I DO know a reviewer that acts just like that in another site I will not name.
@Pyrosa Or... you can change the sound volume down a notch then back and exit and it will auto save. No idea what so ever why they didn't just allow you to manually save yeesh...
@Zero_Echo @n0xinab0x don't use logic. what games he plays is very manly and get him a lot of women.. *rolleyes* =)
@Zero_Echo @n0xinab0x yes...all games. Like imagine how many times you push buttons in street fighter. Would you push more buttons in a game of Street fighter than Diablo, over the same duration of time?
Thank you.
You are a scholar and a gentleman.
No one has given me a straight answer on that, so thanks again.
@SteamyPotatoes @electro57 The PS3 version is the best iteration of the game to date. second that
@n0xinab0x @Kinguard73 @Zero_Echo Moar lyke, Civilization and XCOM ::yawn:: #turnbasednailbiters
@Kinguard73 @n0xinab0x@Zero_Echo@n0xinab0x Oh...I get it, so games like say Civilization or XCOM fit in the same genre huh? Ooh foolish me.
@SteamyPotatoes
Yeah, but people tend to play strangely on the internet when they feel anonymous.
It's infinitely funner to have someone next to you.
This is kind of the idea behind the Wii U now that I think about it. Hmm..
Why doesn't Nintendo make more games to promote the whole sitting together idea? Most actually feel half baked. But I digress.
