PlayStation 4 takes out best hardware category at Gamescom

Gamescom has announced its show winners, with the PlayStation 4 taking out the best hardware category.

While Sony reigned supreme in the hardware stakes, Xbox One exclusive Titanfall was rewarded best next-gen console game.

Destiny came away with the most awards, taking out three including Best Console Game on a Sony console, Best Action Game and Best Online Multiplayer Game.

Meanwhile, The Elder Scrolls Online won two categories, including Best Role Playing Game and Best Social/Casual/Online Game.
