Future Is Games is a forward-minded game conference focused on looking at the future of the industry. Our goal is to have discussions about the current and future impact of games on the industry, entertainment, and culture. Why FIG? We've been interested for quite some time now in finding a way to bring new types of education and discussion to the industry. Additionally, we wanted to resurrect Phoenix as a home for game developers, regardless of whether they are indie or AAA. This combination of ideas led to the creation of FIG, a conference that could not only bring talent to the southwest but also promote the exploration of the relationships and impact that games have on industries around us, including our own. With that, we have set out to provide a creative outlet that will allow such discussions to affect the way that we look at the evolution of the games industry. We hope to spread these ideas to as wide of an audience as possible through our talks, events, workshops and partnerships.
