SXSW 2010 Interview: Director Gareth Edwards and Actors Scoot McNairy and Whitney Able (MONSTERS)
One of my favorite things about festivals is the close proximity of press and filmmakers. Generally, there seems to be a disconnect between the two groups. The press tend to review films and aren't often treated to a casual one on one conversation with the filmmakers themselves. More often than not, these conversations give you an immense amount of respect for the film and those responsible for it.
This certainly was the case with my interview regarding MONSTERS, a love story set against a science fiction environment. I was fortunate enough to sit down with Gareth Edwards, the director of the film, and the film's two lovely stars, Scoot McNairy and Whitney Able. After seeing MONSTERS, I'm incredibly stoked to see what these guys can come up with next. Check out my audio interview, after the jump.
