Mona Thiba, who was shooting for her untitled Gujarati movie in Gandhinagar recently, is keen on continuing her reign in Gujarati movies. The hottie who did an item song Dhoka Dhoka in 'Himmatwala' feels doing Gujarati movies is what tops her priority list at the moment.

Mona, who has finished shooting for Rajwadi Bapu Ne Rang Chhe, seems quite content with her Gollywood trajectory as she says, "I am happy doing whatever work I am doing right now. I would like to remain on the top in Gollywood. So I would stick to doing Gujarati movies than to go hunting for roles in Bollywood. I have got my recognition and awards thanks to the Gujarati films that I did. I will stay rooted because that is what defines me."

The actress who's happy with the outcome of her recently released film Suhaagan Shobhey Saasariye, seems to be quite comfortable with the idea of pursuing her telly ambitions. Mona, who had hosted Gujarati show Sawaal Ek Lakh Nu and got an enviable Gujarati fan following with her role in the episodic Chhutta Chheda says, "I have a strong connect with the culture. So I never gave much thought to pursuing a career in Bollywood. Moreover, life is very difficult in Bollywood. When my career is going strong in Gollywood, why to take a risk?"

The actress, however, is not denying her intent to do TV shows. Says Mona, "I am quite okay with the idea of doing Hindi shows. I am comfortable with doing television shows as it's familiar to me. TV has a wider reach, so one gets a chance to be noticed more on the medium."
Considered the cream of Gollywood, the actress feels the only one competition that she sees herself in the industry is 'herself'.
