The first female president of Sierra Leone's football federation said on Monday her election signified the "dawn of a new era" in the sport and vowed to boost the women's game. Isha Johansen, 48, ran unopposed in Saturday's election for the presidency of the Sierra Leone Football Association after her rival candidates were all disqualified.
Commercial taxes department, which has already completed the hearing of five multiplexes in Indore on the issue of collection of entertainment tax by them and even having pocketed it during the tax holiday period, is likely to fix the tax liabilities today. The department feels that the multiplexes should not have collected the tax amount during the tax waiver period. On the other, multiplexes feel that it was unfair as state government had refunded the tax amount to them.
