PIC FROM CATERS NEWS - (PICTURED: The new work left after the Kitty piece was removed) - This is the moment a clever graffiti artist decided to immortalise a man sent to remove his artwork - by turning him into the ART. Stencil artist - who is known only as DS - created his first piece Bad Kitty on a wall in London as an amusing comment on the squeaky clean image of the Hello Kitty character. DS, who is 28, and from London, created his artwork in May but eight hours later he was surprised to see someone already in the process of removing it. Deciding to document the act of erasing his work, DS took photos of the moment and then used one to show the man that removed it. SEE CATERS COPY.

PIC FROM CATERS NEWS - (PICTURED: MARK TEMPERATO WITH 813-PIECE DRUM KIT) - A rock n roll reverend has smashed the record for the worlds biggest drum kit - with a staggering 813 individual pieces weighing more than a whopping 5000 lbs. Mark Temperato, who goes by the stage name RevM, destroyed the previous record by over 450 extra parts which he has painstakingly assembled over the past 20 years. To prove the kit is fully-functional and claim the record, drum-crazy Mark had to be able to hit all 800-plus pieces from either a sitting or standing position without taking a step to either side. Some of the parts are as far as seven or eight feet away from each other and it takes an entire HOUR for Mark to strike each piece but he insists he knows every sound on the set. The drum kit, which is made up of mixture of drums, cymbals, cow bells and other bashable pieces is stored in the church where Mark, 56, works and requires up to 17 hours of maintenance a week. A Guinness World Record representative confirmed the new record just a few days ago leaving Mark, from Lakeville, New York, already planning spectacular ways to make his kit BIGGER. SEE CATERS COPY

A potty-mouthed parrot who was found wandering in the middle of a road told its rescuer to 'bugger off' and became angry with vets who were trying to look after it. See Ross Parry copy RPYPARROT. The African grey parrot swore repeatedly at the unwitting member of the public when he tried to pick up the bird from the road in Guiseley, Leeds, West Yorks yesterday lunchtime (WED). The stowaway pet, whose gender and name are not known, was brought into the White Cross Vets in car, but hung on for dear life with its claws as it sat in the front seat, not wanting to be brought in for treatment. It then went on the offensive and began attacking staff, but once the parrot calmed down and stopped its foul language, staff were able to send an ID number which was attached by a ring on its leg to a specialist team to try and track down the owner. Pictured with vet Hayley Thompson.
