YOUR FRIENDS' ACTIVITY

    • I had my moment of truth at skin-care spa Truth + Beauty, in Roslyn, New York, the other day. I stuck my face into a high-tech "visio" machine that analyzes your skin - and it took the most hideous picture of my face, me without a stitch of makeup on. But I'm willing to try anything if it helps me plan my skincare routine a little better. Listen below to what my beauty technician had to say about my skin:

I'm a big believer in sunscreen, so I definitely went a little bananas when I heard I have UV damage - turns out pretty much everyone does, so that's even more of a reason to use sunblock, even when you're doing something half-outdoors, like driving a car.

Rock star Truth + Beauty expert Cori Goldfarb was sweet enough to share a few of her pro skincare tips with me. They're even more essential now that it's summer and you're hanging out at the beach - or clinking margaritas on the patio.

Use sunscreen, sunscreen, and more sunscreen!

    • I'm no makeup expert - I just do what works for me. For example, cream blush is very in - I use a pink so I look feminine instead of the angry beast I am, but maybe you look better in peachy corals. Play around with it!

Even though I don't know exactly what to do with each brush or product, I see what other people do and I copy it, because it's fun. Get creative with your look and figure out what shades make you feel best.

Here are a few tips that work really well:

      • Forget the severe '80s swipe-your-blush-up-to-your temples technique. Start with cream blush, which is very "in" right now, on the apples of your cheeks and blend with your fingers, or you can use a puffy brush - whatever works for you.

      • Use more blush than you need to, because blush tends to go away really quickly.

      • Cream isn't enough, so keep a powder blush compact in your purse and bust it out when your makeup starts to fade - like around midnight.

      • You can do powder after your blush if you have o

      Where you've seen him:

Before he was the Zesty guy, he was all oiled up in ab-tastic fitness spreads for mags like "Men's Health." Now he's encouraging us to "Get Zesty" as the shirtless Kraft Zesty salad dressing guy - he's heating up online memes and lounging about in a two-page Burt Reynolds-style sexy centerfold in major women's magazines.

      Quirky Anderson facts:

What's the best comment you've gotten about being the "sexy salad dressing guy"?

The most common one is no matter what I do, whether it's going to order a pizza or something, people will ask me, "Hey, so are you keeping it zesty?" It doesn't get old - I think it's funny!

Before you moved to L.A. to pursue acting, you were a college baseball player. Can you talk a little bit about those days?

[Joking.] Oh, my gosh, you're bringing back the bad memories of the team bus rides. As a baseball player, I just remember excruciating long, long bus rides. You're packed on a bus with, like, 35 other

Remember: Sunblock is not optional! A study just found that using sunscreen daily can prevent skin aging. Go for SPF 30 for both you and your babies. Bethenny's dermatologist says anything higher than that has a extra chemicals but no extra protection.

    • If you use what you have, you can find ways to repurpose the weirdest things creatively.

Bethenny found this multicolored farfalle when she was cleaning out her friend's cabinet the other day and came up with a great craft project for kids - perfect for quiet time during a long weekend.

All you need is a pack of glittery glue sticks, like Crayola Washable Glitter Glue, and paper. Then just put down some newspaper, use whatever paper you have on hand (colored construction paper, computer paper, parchment paper - whatever), and let the kids go nuts. Pasta necklaces are next!

    • Sometimes something that you are so over can turn into something great. Here's how to use what you have to make a great dinner with leftovers. In fact, I had this for dinner last night.

      • Chop up leftover vegetables, like steamed cauliflower, roasted corn, and broccoli.
      • Add it to greens and tomatoes.
      • Top it with your favorite dressing.

It's easy-breezy and quick, especially on nights when you get home late and don't have the energy to make a complicated dish.

Is there a recipe you love that's heavy on the fat and calories? Send it to me, and I'll make it healthy on my talk show!

    • I don't eat raw vegetables every day, even though it would be great if I did. Sometimes I just don't have a chance and sometimes I'm just not in the mood. However, I try. Here are a few quick hits on how to reinvent your summer salad:

      * Give your salad a fresher taste by muddling up the basil, mint, or parsley in the dressing.

      * Forget an old-school pasta salad with all that mayo and crap. Instead, use whole-wheat elbow macaroni with vinaigrette and veggies.

      * Instead of a regular salad, try mixing just corn, avocado, basil, and tomato. I swear it's just as good, and it's healthier.

      * One of my favorite tricks for dressing up a generic cucumber salad is to add asparagus. Great mix of tastes!

    • My hair, I have a lot of it, but it's thin. I hate using too much product in it, though, so it's always this struggle between totally flat and curled for less than a minute.

I've got a million hair tricks, including this one for major waves when you've gone a couple of days without shampooing.

    • Check out this picture of a "small" yogurt I ordered the other day. Hmm, I wonder why we have an obesity issue in this country. Here's how you can enjoy your treat without going overboard:

If you crave sweets late at night, have just a little cup of fro-yo. A small ramekin is the size of the bowl you want for evening snacking. Stonyfield Farms Crème Caramel Organic Low-Fat Frozen Yogurt is one of my favorites.

If what you're actually craving is ice cream, not frozen yogurt, go for the real stuff. Ice cream isn't a bad choice when you're craving sweets, because it has protein and calcium. If you choose ice cream, lean toward the kind made from real ingredients, like Ben & Jerry's, not the kind with a bunch of artificial fillers.

A major perk of choosing low-fat frozen yogurt or low-fat ice cream is you won't have to digest a lot of fat late at night. That can be hard on your body.

After dinner, ask yourself: Are you just in the habit of dessert, or are
