Lack of innovation in the GTA series? Are you talking about the same GTA series that started the entire open world craze. The same GTA that laid the ground work for games like True Crime, Saints Row, and so on. the only explaination needed would be one for your question.... You dont have to be a fan of the series to know and acknowlege GTA's impact on how games were developed after GTA III blew our minds. Without GTA there is no Watch Dogs, hows that for innovative.

This game looks great, but I hope you can play as one character the whole game if you don't feel like switching.
2 Like There will be points in missions where you have to switch. Then there will be those points in the mission where you're in trouble and it would be beneficial for you to switch so that you can provide support for the other character. Not to mention, if you decide to play the game as one character, I'm sure the story won't move forward, and you'd be missing out on the other characters missions and activities. You'd basically be limiting your fun - I don't understand why you'd want that.
I don't give a fuck about GTA, but this is amazing! High quality and huge amount of content. Certainly a huge step in gaming again.

@dhayter I like PC gaming and is saving up on getting myself a good rig but I will still get into my console games pretty bad but I would say PC gamers are the worst of the gamers in only caring about specs and GHz and what level they play the game and how many frames then actually enjoying and playing the game just for what it is.
guys , if you still wonder if you can have a pet , hell yeah you can , if you watch closely , when you see franklin folloed by a dog , take a look at the HUD and you can see a small arrow going the same direction as franklin , maybe you can order the dog , maybe you can take control over it ... MAYBE ! what u think ?
Next generation gaming......hells yeah. I'm a huge fan of the grand theft autos and well so far this does take the cake. Cannot wait for this one to come out. I'm really glad that they brought back flying in the game again, plus just damn near everything else that you could of done in san andreas. I'm just counting done the days

With games like this still being released this generation, the PS4 and XOne can wait. I honestly don't see how the average adult has time to play great games like this without factoring in next gen games.
This is my first time being exposed to GTA, and I have to say it just looks like a criminal version of The Sims. Are they all like this? Honestly, it looks pretty dumb. I don't want to play a video game where I look like a criminal from the news. :/
@goggles123456 Not missing much. Huge, un-interesting and pointless maps to explore nothing on, much of which can be done killing people using a watered-down Max Payne 1 combat system (minus bullet time).

no they are not all like that. GTA 4 was not. but it also sucked. The PS2 era GTA games where a blast. They where more like Saints row but not as over the top.
From GTA 1 to GTA IV episodes from liberty city I've ended it on pc but what the _____________ No pc version??????

@aitxmg why? probably because even the 3-level protection of gtaIV (social club, live and steam) did not stop piracy at all.

For the people complaining about graphics, get a life. This game will have enough content on it to justify it not looking like the best damn game this gen.
Meanwhile other games that are so called "graphically superior" to this game have about what, 10hrs of gameplay. Sheesh

@Section141 @Heroldp813 10 hours of quality gameplay beats 100 hours of boring, uninteresting and extremely linear gameplay. With shit graphics I might add.
