Seminoles Drop Tight 4-3 Match On Senior Day

The No. 30 Florida State men's tennis team started the day strong sweeping doubles and honoring their seniors before singles, but the Seminoles were unable to hold on to the match as No. 52 Virginia Tech (14-8) topped FSU (17-9) 4-3 on Sunday at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.

Although the Seminoles fell to 17-8 on the year, the doubles tandem of Dominic Cotrone and Blake Davis upset the No. 1 doubles team in the nation at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center.

The No. 27 Florida State men's tennis team improved to 17-7this season after defeating No. 69 North Carolina 5-2 on Sunday. The Seminoles took the doubles point and then went on to increase their record to 4-4 in the ACC at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

M. Tennis - The No. 27 Florida State men's tennis team spent the afternoon battling back and forth with No. 26 Wake Forest. The Seminoles fell to the Demon Deacons 4-3 at Leighton Courts and are now 16-7 for the year and 3-4 in the ACC.
