News Detective Conan's Next Kaitō Kid Special's 1st 3 Minutes Posted

4 installments featuring phantom thief & Conan's rival to air every week in August
Shogakukan's Club Sunday website began streaming the first three minutes from "Magic Kaito ~Karei Naru Rival-tachi~" (Magic Kaito: Magnificent Rivals), the next Detective Conan summer special featuring the phantom thief Kaitō Kid.
"Magic Kaito ~Karei Naru Rival-tachi~" will air on August 4, followed by the "Magic Kaito ~Red Tear no Himitsu~" (Magic Kaito: Red Tear Secret) special on August 11. The two-part "Kaito Kid no Yon Meiga" (Kaitō Kid's Four Masterpiece Paintings) will then air on August 18 and August 25.
The specials are inspired by Gosho Aoyama's original Magic Kaito manga about Kaito Kuroba, a young budding magician who follows in his late father's footsteps as a thief. The character has since appeared several times in Aoyama's Detective Conan manga and anime over the years.
