Second Special Session of the Conference of the States Parties to Review the Operation of the Chemical Weapons Convention (Second Review Conference or RC-2)

7–18 April 2008

The two-week Second Review Conference of the Chemical Weapons Convention officially ended on Friday night, 18 April 2008 with a clear reaffirmation of the provisions of the Chemical Weapons Convention and work of its implementing agency, the OPCW.

Chairperson: Ambassador Waleed A. Elkhereiji of Saudi Arabia. 117 States Parties participated.
