Free Left 4 Dead 2-themed DLC hits Resident Evil 6 today

Capcom has delivered on its end of a deal with Valve to release crossover DLC for Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6.

Capcom's free DLC pack for Resident Evil 6, exclusive to the PC version, is available now and adds L4D2 characters Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle to the playable roster in the game's PC-only 'The Mercenaries No Mercy' mode, along with L4D2 Special Infected, the Witch and a 'Mini Tank' as enemies to tackle.

Capcom and Valve announced the partnership in March, promising to deliver Left 4 Dead 2-themed content for Resident Evil 6 and vice versa for the PC versions of both games.

Valve has only offered Left 4 Dead 2 players a vague 'spring' ETA on its Resident Evil 6-themed content. It plans to add Resi 6 enemies to the game, including Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman.
