Described as 'part Killer7, part No More Heroes', Killer is Dead is in development at Grashopper Manufacture and puts players in the shoes of an executioner called Mondo Zappa.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 title is being published by Deep Silver in the UK and Australia, Xseed Games in the States and Kadokawa Games in Japan. It's set for release in Europe and Japan in late August, and in the US on an unspecified Summer date.

A premium edition of Killer Is Dead will offer a reversible cover and DLC, Deep Silver recently confirmed.
