Activision has sent over details of its E3 2013 line-up, accompanied by the announcement that Skylanders Swap Force will be released on next-gen consoles.

Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said: "This is obviously a big year - not just for Activision, but for the entire industry. There's a console transition coming and naturally, everyone wants to see what new possibilities that will unleash in the games.
"We remain laser focused on delivering the things we know our gamers care about most: great gameplay, immersive worlds, and cool innovations. And that's what our amazing line up at E3 this year will deliver."
Swap Force, which is set for release on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii and 3DS on October 18 in the UK, was today confirmed to be in development for PS4 and Xbox One.
Swap Force's hook is the ability to mix and match the top and bottom halves of toys to create over 250 unique combinations.
In February, Activision said the Skylanders franchise has generated over $1 billion in retail sales.
Activision plans to offer a first look at Call of Duty: Ghosts gameplay during a dedicated webcast this Sunday.
