Much of the footage released for Goichi Suda's Killer is Dead has been cinematic, but here are two videos of uninterrupted gameplay.
Japanese site Famitsu shared the new footage to offer players a good look at two missions in the game.
The first video is combat-heavy, taken from a mission called 'The Tiger That Vanished Into Darkness', according to Siliconera translations. In it, lead character Mondo battles a yakuza with a tattoo that can spring to life.
The second video is of a so-called 'Gigolo mission', in which Mondo must apparently attempt to seduce a woman named Natalia.
Killer is Dead will release for PS3 and Xbox 360. Described as 'part Killer7, part No More Heroes', the game is set for release in Europe and Japan in late August, and in the US on an unspecified Summer date.
A premium edition of Killer Is Dead will offer a reversible cover and DLC, Deep Silver recently confirmed.
