Guacamelee hits PS3 and PS Vita April 9

Mextroidwrestlevania brawler comes with cross-buy and cross-saves

Lucha-libre-themed brawler Guacamelee will suplex PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on April 9 in North America and April 10 in Europe, DrinkBox Studios announced on the PlayStation Blog today. The co-op indie game which shows equal love for Mexican wrestling and for platforming exploration has a new trailer to celebrate.

Guacamelee is a cross-buy title, meaning one purchase gets players access on both PS3 and PS Vita. Saves will carry over for continued pile driving on the go and at home.

If you're hungry for more Guacamelee until then, check out our developer demo with DrinkBox from earlier this month.

o.O Say WHAT? it's coming in 3 weeks??? AWWESOME! :D With all the seeming delays and how they never have even hinted at a tentative release date, I was worried we were still ways off from enjoying this game, but I'm so happy to hear that this isn't the case! ^^ Great news! and very much looking forward to playing this ASAP! :3 ORALE!

Played the demo at PAX this year. Was a lot of fun and the devs are really cool guys. I will definitely buy this on day one.
