    After nearly 40 scoreless minutes, Yale snuck in a goal in the closing seconds of the second period then blitzed Quinnipiac in the third for a 4-0 victory Saturday to win the DI men's hockey championship.

    Jeff Malcolm was a major reason that Yale was able to secure its first title, making 36 saves. According to head coach Keith Allain, Malcolm's team play and hard work helped the Bulldogs get where they are.

    Quinnipiac had Yale's number all season long, but that didn't matter in the national championship game. The rival Bulldogs took it to the Bobcats, who just couldn't get anything to go their way.
