This has been a fucking incredible year. These games have easily become some of my favorites of this generation.

It is sad that while Metro has sold a fraction of what TR has, we are almost certainly going to see a sequel to Metro while TR is up in the air.
Seriously people, go buy both new if you can. I'm sure TR is down to $30-$40 by now. It's the best Metroid game since Super Metroid.

Secondly... You DO know that there's now a patch that lets you play with the analog sticks, right? even if the crew played it on RadarPlays Shuffle, there's no reason why they'd play with with the sixaxis.

"... eradicating entire races for the sake of 'good' (Mass Effect)..."
When the hell has this ever happened in Mass Effect? To my knowledge, the Alliance was never responsible for genocide of another race. You might be talking about Cerberus, but even they never went that far. The only thing I can think of that would apply would be a few choices Shepard has the option of taking in regards to the rachni, genophage, and the quarian/geth conflict, but that's all up to player choice and the commander can just as easily take a course of action that doesn't end in genocide. I'm confused here.

Agreed. Technically, I saved every race in the known galaxy.

I aggre in that 3rd person it completely unneccecary and should never be implemented and srsly wtf why no in-game first person cutscenes? anyway, the one idea that i didnt find here was that. A cops & runners chas gamemode would be awesome with the cops using guns and runners using pathways to throw them off and do a dropkick out of nowhere whilst being outnumbered. just imagine it, You and 4 other runners getting some objective (runnerbag drop-off) and being chased by 10 cops (sluggish-runnercops or normal ones/ all custom) and you take out 8 all toghether and end up losing almost everyone. Now you are alone with a runnercop and a CPF behind looking for you and the clock is ticking, you end up getting shot but barely making it and thus clutching the win, after that round the roles are swiched
Good idea?

Agree with everything bar the 3rd person mode. I know it wouldn't be mandatory, but rather than spend time on that it would be so much better if they spent that time doing the other things on the list. Plus, a lot of the reason why Mirror's Edge is so special is that first-person free running immersion.
Why can't they hurry up and announce this game! Can't wait til E3, maybe then we'll have answers!

I'd have to go with League of Legends. I kinda did something similar before, when I was in-game with friends, and I had to leave, so i set a temporary password on my account and disconnected so a friend of mine finished it for me. Other than that I really don't see a good use of that new function besides just a hard boss fight in any game.

hehe i like the pronounciations of my username :) My name came from my ass allegedly sticking out whilst rock climbing - thomas/tomass, and my middle name is pip after my grandfathers nickname so tomasspipass ended up coming around somehow as a username and email oO
QOTW - Id like to say I would not use this feature but then I remembered the Final Fantasy 13 end bosses. It took me so much willpower to push through to the end game. I carried on in the hopes of understanding the convulted plot or that the game may become enjoyable and I was reluctant to trade the game without completing it first. However two attempts on one of the last bosses dragged out so long until the doom counter ran out and it was game over. I do not give up easily, but I did at that point. I do not know the end of the story, I suppose I could youtube the end but I gave up caring after that.
Please square enix, let final fantasy be fun again!

sometimes when playing fire emblem awakening on hard and not allowing anyone to die, i felt like giving up and throwing the 3ds. That feature would have helped a little bit but probably wouldn't use it because of pride

No that's not fucking fare, you can't just declare a dumb idea and have a smug look of satisfaction like your the dam president of the universe and then the slightest tinge of consumer dissatisfaction you just shove it under the rug. You revealed the TV function, you were proud of the TV function, now you better own up to the bloody TV function, hell if you do, and it's good, maybe people will come around and forget that you haven't said a dam thing about video games since you announced the console, the console used to play video games.

It's E3 dude. It's about games. So they are showing games. But to address what you said ("you haven't said a dam thing about video games since you announced the console, the console used to play video games") Their console isn't just about games anymore. That's why the reveal was targeted at a wider audience. And they have talked about video games since the reveal, they just weren't what you wanted to hear. And furthermore, they haven't shown enough about the TV function for you to declare it a dumb idea right off the bat. stop being butthurt.

Psh, you've obviously haven't watched previous MS E3 conferences before, then. It's never just about games for Microsoft, a quick look and their two past e3 presentations should be more than enough evidence for you.
And like I said before, E3 conferences are sadly as game focused as they should be, this includes Sony and Nintendo as well. Often, the 2+ hour long presentations meander with either minute long rants made of buzzwords and sales figures, and the actual amount of time spent talking about games ends up being 30 minutes at best. Can't see how that'll change in this E3
